Here is a screenshot of ascii2shpGUI
ascii2shpGUI
is a standalone userinterface for the commandline exe
ascii2shp
of Jason J. Roberts.
It creates point-shapes out of ascii-coordinate-files.
It also provides a batch-conversion for equal ascii-files.
You DON'T need ArcGIS for this programm.

New in Version 1.5.2 (20-Aug-2010)
- Fix: gui doesn't freeze anymore, if ascii2shp.exe produced an error
- Fix: all opened windows will be closed, if main window is closed
- gui now shows, that the ascii2shp.exe is still running by adding points to the outputwindow
